Heesung Electronics Poland – corporate information portal

I created a comprehensive corporate portal for Heesung Electronics Poland – a major manufacturer of LED components for LCD backlighting and a supplier of electronic solutions for the consumer electronics and industrial sectors. The project included full information architecture, layout coding, Joomla CMS implementation, and server environment configuration.

Project Description

The website was used internally by over 3,500 employees, so I implemented a hierarchical access structure for multiple user groups. Employees from the HR, administration, production, human resources, and logistics departments could independently publish content relevant to their sections – including job offers, internal announcements, employee announcements, shift schedules, timetables, news, events, and internal newsletters.

The technical support included a PHP backend, CMS modules tailored to the company’s needs, performance optimization, server configuration, and the implementation of a responsive frontend (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript). The portal was designed with easy content management, security, and the ability to work with multiple editors simultaneously in mind.

This implementation was one of the largest corporate projects, where I was responsible for the architecture, backend, frontend, UX, RWD, CMS, and server – the full spectrum of work as a web architect and integrator.
