The Steadfast Run – the official website of the nationwide event – Tomasz Dąbrowski | IT Systems & Web Solutions Architect | Wrocław

I was entrusted with the comprehensive creation of the official website for the nationwide run in honor of the Cursed Soldiers – an event with the participation of over 1,400 runners in Poland and at NATO bases (soldiers of the international contingent stationed in Lithuania, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Kosovo). The website was the main source of information, registration, galleries, and media coverage for the event.

Scope of work:

Information architecture for a large portal,
Design and coding of a responsive layout (RWD, Bootstrap),
Implementation and configuration of a Joomla CMS with extensive modules,
Registration and form system,
Multi-level content and category division,
Photo galleries, press materials, news,
Server performance optimization and configuration,
Technical SEO and implementation of best practices for website structure,
Partial authoring in PHP and JavaScript.

Result: A stable website supporting an international-scale event, used by organizers and participants in many countries. The project has been running for many years and has experienced very high traffic and extensive media reach.
